John B. Keane
Set in a courtroom in rural Ireland in the year 2052.
Produced as a part of 'Values' a triple bill of Keane one-acts including 'Backwater' and 'The Pure of Heart'.
A comedic look at how if the ultra-conservationists got their way in the future, the killing of a flea would be a prosecutable offence, whereby the breaking of the commandment of conservation is punishable by death, in a world where people may become more expendable than the environmental creatures.
