Christine Longford
Set in the rectory of an Irish town, Castledudgeon.
This is a comedy which revolves around the plans of a parochial hero-politician to erect a National War Memorial on the village green, which is actually owned by a colonel, a hero from other wars. No fight could begin without a referee, and the local rector - a man of no property - is chosen for this task.
