Brendan Behan
Originally commissioned by Radio Eireann and broadcast in 1952, The Pike Theatre Club staged Moving Out and A Garden Party as a short two-act piece entitled 'The New House'. It was presented as a companion piece to 'The Big House'.
The end of an era as the Big house comes under threat from the republicans and the Baldcocks are forced back home to England, leaving the house in the hands of the immensely untrustworthy Chuckles Genockey.
