  • Synopsis

    The play opens with the Head of an Orange Lodge in Northern Ireland handing in his resignation. His son, a returned emigrant, has been given the nomination by the lodge with a few objections. However, the son is more liberal than his father, and cannot abide sectarianism of any kind.
