Arthur Duff
The action of the play takes place in the sitting-room of 'Sandringham', the Weldon's home in a suburb of Dublin towards the end of the Anglo-Irish struggle.
A play about the impact of the establishment of the Irish Free State on a well-to-do Dublin Protestant family ast they gradually find their position in society challenged by the staunch Catholicism of the new State.
