  • Synopsis

    A scattered group of people are returning to their village by train having spent the day attending a murder trial in the city. The case for the prosecution has collapsed, and the suspect - a young woman - is now back among the rest of the home-bound passengers. The chorus illustrate the thoughts of the passengers in time with the rhythm of the train.
