Apollo Theatre
First performed in the Apollo Theatre on London's West End.
Famously rejected by Yeats at the Abbey in 1928, the play's Irish premiere took place at The Abbey Theatre in 1935, produced by Arthur Shields and with settings based on original designs by Maurice McGonigal.
