    Originally staged as a one-act piece, 'Tic' was later rewritten by the author into a full-length play which was produced by Focus theatre in September 2010. On this occasion the play was directed by Joe Devlin and featured Lorna Quinn, Michael Bates, Colm O’Brien and Sonya O’Donoghue. The listing here refers to the play's original one-act production in 2007.

  • Synopsis

    Set in Ireland in 1890, the play explores the predicament of a beautiful Anglo-Irish woman afflicted by an illness no one understands. In this unforgiving time of ignorance and superstition can a couple’s love overcome a society’s rigid intolerance?
