Little John Nee
Ireland, the mid to late 19th century.
An homage to the the balladeer and circus performer Johnny Patterson, born in County Clare in the 1840s. Orphaned at a young age, Patterson went on to enjoy an extraordinary career as a singer and entertainer at home and abroad. His personal life, however, was not without its own tragedy. The production includes songs from Patterson's original repertoire.
