Belfast, the present day (2010)
Karen has managed the cleanroom of a pharmaceutical packaging firm for fifteen years. It’s more than a just a job – the cleanroom has been her place of refuge during turbulent times. Suddenly nothing is safe. Karen’s secret relationship with employee Saul is attracting unwanted attention. Her late husband’s cronies are watching her day and night. And the factory is facing closure. Just when it seems things couldn’t get worse, into the cleanroom walks Molly. She claims to have been transferred to help the cleanroom survive the day, but it soon becomes clear that she has very personal motives for being there. As the workforce shrinks and time runs out, Karen, Saul and Molly are forced to confront some dangerous truths about their past.
