The garden of the Grant family's home in Donegal
Sam Grant, a novelist succumbing to Alzheimer's, is cared for at the family home by his wife, Jane, whose passion is the house's extensive gardens; and their eldest son, Charlie. They are joined by daughter Rachel and youngest son Maurice in a rancorous reunion that reveals their inability to relate to each other in the wake of Sam's overbearing influence.
