Eating Seals and Seagulls' Eggs

OVERVIEW

  • Playwright

    Caitríona Ní Mhurchú

  • Synopsis

A cat and mouse game of two biographies, in which Peig Sayers, one of the most hated women in Irish History is re-imagined. Autobiographical and archive material is woven with rare film footage to create a world in which past, present, and possibly even the future, co-exist. There is a bit of Peig Sayers in us all. This is her story. Largely. But is it also our story?
