Ronan Fitzgibbon
Prospect House tells the story of a woman (who never has a name) trapped in a life of enforced prostitution. The time period and location are also left ambiguous and nameless. The story details her growing relationship with a nameless soldier who visits her on a regular basis. The play charts both of their struggles to hold on to what is left of their old selves in the face of their horrific situation. As well as the possibilities for human connection and tenderness to persist in the unlikeliest of circumstances.
