Synopsis

In 1980s' Ireland, five sisters whose surname is White grapple with the secret behind why four of them are white, but one of them isn't. Bound together under their mother's watchful eye, they spend their lives longing for escape, power and the one local eligible bachelor. A reworking of Lorca's The House of Bernarda Alba, BÁN asks how much people are asked to give up in the name of family.
