  • Synopsis

    The Marley family hurridly evacuate to the Boyne country after their house is blown up in the Belfast Blitz. Together with their friend Barney Brudge, who is newly converted to religion after his near-death experience, they find lodging in the country with archaologist Jack Hart, who seems kindly and learned. In the next few days, however, the characterful Marleys discover all is not as it seems, and through numerous scrapes and adventures, resourceful Martha, lovelorn Gugs, would-be composer Willie John and loveable scatterbrained Rabby discover the truth.
