Tom Coffey
Set in the kitchen-Living Room of Brid Flaherty's house, present day(1963).
Johnsie lives at home with his widowed mother, amongst others, but he's a bit 'queer in the head' and this isn't helped by the taunting and tormenting by the locals - the 'Them' in the title. The mother has to make a choice, keep him at home with herself or institutionalise him, keeping himout of the gaze of 'Them'.
