George Bernard (GB) Shaw
Period - Late September Captain Shotover's Villa in Sussex
The reverberations of World War I permeate Shaw's tragi-comedy of manners. Ellie Dunn, a no-nonsense young woman engaged to a much older, wealthy man, Boss Mangan comes to visit the country house of Captain Shotover, a wise old sea dog, who has many witticisms to impart about British men & women in wartime.
