  • Synopsis

    A frail Indian boy, Amal, is condemned to seclusion and inactivity through ill health. He makes a new world for himself, by his imagination and insatiable curiosity, and the passersby bring the outside world to him. When a new post office opens in the village, Amal believes the King will send him a letter.
