Tháinig an léiriú seo ag deireadh an tséasúir nuadhrámaíochta a chuir An Taibhdhearc ar bun, séasúr inar léiríodh deich gcinn de dhrámaí nuascríofa Gaeilge.

  • Synopsis

The action unfolds in Ireland, 2030. The country is divided between the revival of nationalism in Europe and the collapse of the church at home. Although the west of Ireland belongs to the "Temporary Army of Ireland", the east is alligned with the European Federation. Between these two sides lies a demilitarised zone. One night, a stranger knocks on the door of a house in a small town within this zone. Soon a band of European troops take possession of the area. What has the stranger done? Why do the Europeans hate him? Will he find refuge in this town?
