  • Synopsis

    Climb is based on three Mountain stories – Joe Simpson’s Touching the Void – an incredible, contemporary, survival story set in the Peruvian Andes, George Mallory’s Everest expeditions in the early 1920’s and his letters to his wife Ruth – Mallory was one of the most extraordinary men of the 20th Century – disappearing in the high mists on Everest in 1924 – his body only found in 1999 and Thomas Burnett and his publication – The Sacred Theory of the Earth in 1684 which looked at the origins of mountains.
