BEES!

OVERVIEW

  • Playwright

    Mark Doherty

  • Notes

    A musical for ages 6+.

  • Synopsis

Did you know that there are more than 20,000 different types of bees? The bumble bee, the solitary bee, the mining bee, the spelling bee, the vitamin B... And then there's Mel, the honey bee, who's going in search of her colony. She got left behind, you see. In fact, she's not even sure how to be a bee. On the journey to find her friends she has some amazing adventures and learns an awful lot about herself and her buzzin' cousins. She discovers just how important they are to us human bee-ings, making yummy honey and pollinating the flowers that grow half of the scrummy things we eat.
