The aim of Droichead Arts Centre is to promote professional, amateur and youth theatre through our year-round theatre programme. The centre has two buildings which enable it to nurture both the creative process of theatre and the whole business of theatrical production. The arts centre supports two local professional theatre companies, Upstate and Calipo, a number of local amateur companies and Droichead Youth Theatre.
