Replay Theatre Company: making adventures for younger audiences since 1988

At Replay, we make innovative, quality work for everyone under the age of 19. That means, for all ages (tiny babies right through to teenagers) and for all groups (children with profound disabilities, schools and families) Our audience is at the heart of everything we create. We shape each show through creative consultation with the intended audience, and those who live and work with them. And from what our audience tells us, the end result is shows which really work. We tour locally, nationally and internationally – taking shows to venues from Belfast to Broadway and lots of places in between.

Sometimes	Damian Gorman The play was originally scripted by Damian Gorman, further developed prior to rehearsals by Janice Jarvis (Director), Jane Linz Roberts (Designer) and groups of young people and during rehearsals by Janice Jarvis and the cast. The play also features a piece, 'That Door ', written by Olwen Elliott, Collegiate School, Enniskillen, which is taken from ‘Our Lives’, a book of writing by Enniskillen school students, produced in a collaboration between Fermanagh District Council, Damian Gorman (An Crann/The Tree) and Enniskillen Town Vision.

Under Napoleon's Nose	Marie Jones (1) A programme note for the original production states that this play is based on documentary material which accumulated in stages. Jim McConville wrote his memories of the 1941 Belfast Blitz; these were written up by historian and teacher Jonathan Bardon and Henry Bell into a documentary entertainment for students. In turn, playwright Marie Jones completed 'what began as an ad hoc documentary into a polished and tautly written dramatic piece' for performance by actors.
