  • Description

    Bickerstaffe was formed by Lynn Cahill and Richard Cook in Kilkenny in the early 1990s. The company produced new Irish plays by commission, alongside an annual open-air Shakespeare production. Bickerstaffe Theatre Company ceased operations in 2001, although the company continues to run the highly successful Cat Laughs comedy festival.
