  • Description

    Playgroup was formed in Cork in 2002 and has produced or co-produced seven productions to date, in venues ranging from theatres large and small to back rooms of pubs and scheduled trains.

    They create theatre work that holds a mirror up to the contemporary experience in order to find new stories and new ways of telling them which reflect the way we live now.

    Their work focuses on new Irish writing and collaboratively created work, both in theatrical and off-site contexts.
