BELINDA MCKEON

Belinda McKeon was born in Longford in 1979. As a journalist, she writes about theatre and the arts for The Irish Times and other publications. Her radio play "Word of Mouth" won a PJ O'Connor Award in 2005 and was produced by RTE Radio 1. Her site-specific play 'Drapes' was performed as part of Fishamble's 2006 Whereabouts series, which then went on to win the Judges’ Special Award at the 2007 Irish Times Theatre Awards. In 2007 she was also appointed curator of the DLR Poetry Now Festival in Dún Laoghaire. She currently lives in Brooklyn, New York.
