A native of Belfast, Arnold Hill published short stories in Ireland and the US, as well as having numerous radio plays broadcast. He had two plays produced in the sixties, one in London (On the Water's Edge) and one in Dublin (The Pilgrim's Mother); and one in the seventies (The Great Improvement).
