Emma Gilleece Michael James Ford
Two estranged sisters meet at Kildare Place to discuss a memorial to their father who was a celebrated campaigner against the destruction of Dublin’s Georgian architectural heritage. An awkward reunion turns to furious disagreement over their father's work, cutting to the heart of their own fractured relationship; one wants desperately to hold onto things as they are while the other wants to rip up the past. The Battle of Kildare Place mixes architectural debate and sibling rivalry in the heart of Georgian Dublin.
