Eric Cross

1905-1980 Born in Newry, Co. Down, raised and educated in England, Cross had a varied career as, amongst other things, a chemical engineer and inventor. He wrote and broadcasted for BBC and RTE. His novel 'The Tailor and Ansty' was banned in 1942.
