Séan Mac Réamoinn was hugely influential in the sphere of literature and of the Irish language during his lifetime. His participation in theatre revolved mainly around the Taibhdhearc, where he was an actor and a writer of some of their pantomimes. Among the many varied organisations he was involved in, he was a member of the RTE Authority and a founding member of the Merriman School.
