John Power

Born in Cork in 1911, Power became a journalist working freelance for several publications. His plays for the theatre include 'At Some Tall Cliff','The Chronic' and 'The Irishwoman of the Year'. He also wrote a book of sport stories 'A Story of Champions'(1941), several radio plays and short stories.
