Christine Molloy

1965 -

Together with fellow Dubliner Joe Lawlor, Molloy has directed a number of large scale visual projects for galleries and the internet. Their Desperate Optimists partnership is also behind several films. From 1992 to 1999 they devised, directed and performed in six theatre shows before shifting their attention towards moving-image-based work. For the 2013 Dublin Theatre Festival, Molloy co-wrote and co-directed, with Lawlor, Tom and Vera, their first stage show in 12 years.
