Hupnouse

OVERVIEW

  • Playwright

    Charlie O'Neill

  • Synopsis

Featuring three ‘edge of the world’ characters and an original patois, Hupnouse uses miniatures, shadow play and an integrated soundscape to explore the effect on humanity of Ireland's tiger economy. Trapped in an absurd and ghostly dump, Lug, Midge and Mathias find magic in madness, glamour in grime and exuberance in the ordinary as they attempt to present their own sense of their very own noplace.
