Zoë Seaton
Created with John Leslie.
The play traces the lives of three warriors, Cuchulainn, Ferdia and Naisi, who in this version are contemporaries, raised together in the service of King Conor of Ulster. Their fortunes cross when Naisi elopes with Deirdre, the ordained wife of King Conor, an act which results in the death of both and pits Ferdia against his childhood friend Cuchulainn in battle.
