Dolores Walshe
A play about family conflict in an emigrant setting. The Cartys are a rich Irish/American family living on the California coast, unaware that a tragedy is about to devastate their lives. The presence of an illegal Mexican maid heightens already existing tensions to such a pitch that, when catastrophe strikes, each member is ill-equipped to deal with its consequences.
