Rosmersholm, home of the former clergyman, John Rosmer. One year after the suicide of Rosmer's wife, Beata.
The political ambitions of the reform-minded John Rosmer are undermined by his relationship with the amoral young woman Rebekka,a friend of his late wife. Both have dark secrets behind them. Unable to deal with their past crimes, the consequences for the couple are inevitably tragic.
