The parish church and rectory in Carrig, 1967
Canon Sheridan lives in the town of Carrig with his daughter Deborah (separated from her husband). Deborah takes care of her father, the house and helps out with church duties. Her estranged husband turns up with his Swedish business partner and a plan to commercialise the village. The play deals with the demise of the congregation and the peceived futility of continuing on in a fast changing world.
