    Easter 1916 - Dublin. The rising is about to explode into the pages of Irish history and G. P. Gallivan's effort to humanise the leaders of the rising, explores how the idealist republican thinking affected people at the time. One family, thoroughly steeped in republican traditions are thrown into a strange world, when their prodigal son returns, having joined up with the British Army.
