T.C. Murray
The sitting-room of the Harmans in the early forenoon of a day at the end of June.
Denis Harmon makes the fatal error of indulging his wife's vanity. Rose Harmon has had her novel rejected by every publisher she's approached, so Denis decides to borrow some money from the bank he works in in order to finance her efforts to publish the book herself. Rose's stubborn determination to follow her dreams inevitably leads to disaster.
