  • Synopsis

    Annie Kinsella is a dreamer who has difficulty separating reality from her imagination. Her harsh father snaps when she's late bringing him his dinner and presents her with an ultimatum: marry Jim Harris, a miserly, jealous young man or spend five years working in a factory. She accepts the former, but runs away in dread of a loveless marriage.
