The Spider's House

OVERVIEW

  • Playwright

    Roderick Ford

  • Notes

Created with support from the Arts and Disability Ireland and Project Arts Centre's REALISE Award.

  • Synopsis

A haunted love story exploring the limits of our compassion and the heart's darkness. Set in a zone at the margins of the monstrous and the human this gothic romance asks what relationships are permissable and who should be denied love. Will Paulsa and Issy make it to the midnight train in time to escape the labyrinthine city? Or will the bright future that they yearn for be overwhelmed by the dark forces stacked against them? In this flight of maddness not everything is what it seems.
