    The action reveals the scandalous goings-on of a corrupt legal system, where the judge is as depraved and lecherous, if not more so, than the so-called criminals he seeks to indict. The valiant attempts by others to see justice done provide an exciting struggle to the finish between the fair-minded on the one side and the bloody minded on the other.
