It's a beautiful summer's day and an old man and an old woman, both longterm hospital residents, sit in the garden and take in the sun. They don't know each other. As the old man searches for his pipe, the woman starts to reminisce about another fine May day, decades earlier, when she fell in love for the first time. Her neighbour tells her not to be bothering him – but what was his involvement with the events of that fateful day?
