  Benbo Productions (formerly Donal O’Kelly Productions) was established in 2000. The artistic policy, developed by Donal O’Kelly with co-director Sorcha Fox, is to present challenging stories in a theatrical style based on poetic and music-backed text. The company has for several years had a relationship with the Glens Centre in Manorhamilton, County Leitrim. Benbo has diversified into radio drama recently, winning the 2013 Prix Europa for Best Fiction Serial as well as the Gold Medal for Best Drama Special in the 2014 New York International Radio Festival for Francisco, based on The Adventures Of The Wet Señor and broadcast by Ocean FM. Their radio adaptation of The Cambria came fifth in the Fiction Serial category in the Prix Europa 2014, and has been broadcast in Swedish by UR, Swedish state radio.
