Darach Ó Scolaí

1950s -

Darach Ó Scolaí is an artist and a writer. His play, 'Coinneáil Orainn', won the Walter Macken award and the BBC Stewart Parker Award. Two other scripts by him were made into film, Cosa Nite and An Leabhar. He is the founder of the theatre company Salamandar which works solely through the medium of Irish.
