Alun Owen

1925 - 1994

Born in rural North Wales, of Welsh parents, his family moved to Liverpool when he was eight and he was brought up there. Owen was screenwriter on the Beatles movie 'A Hard Day's Night' and wrote several stories for 'Armchair Theatre' for the BBC in the 1960's.
