Diarmuid Ó Súilleabháin

1932 - 1985

Diarmuid Ó Súilleabháin was born in Beara in West Cork and he worked as a teacher in Co Wexford. He wrote novels, plays, articles and a history of the Christian Brothers. His plays Bior (1965) and Macalla (1966) were produced at An Damer and the Lantern Theatre Club staged his English play, Lens, in 1966.
