Robert Collis
1900 - 1975
Dr Robert Collis was a paediatrician in both the National Children's Hospital and the Rotunda Hospital. He published The State of Medicine in Ireland (1943) and an autobiography, To Be A Pilgrim. Dr. Collis and his wife Han Collis were instrumental in setting up the Marino Cerebral Palsy Clinic in Bray. Bob Collis also took a special interest in the case of the artist, Christy Brown.
