Seán Mac Mathúna

1936 -

Born in Tralee, Co. Kerry in 1936, Mac Mathúna spent many years working as a teacher before taking up writing fulltime in the 80s. His collection of short stories 'Ding' established Mac Mathúna as a gifted short story writer and 'The Atheist' was nominated for the European Literary Prize.
