• Synopsis

  Two young women, Fiona & Josie, are trying to make a go of a hairdressing salon but things are not going well. By keeping secrets from each other they strain their friendship to breaking point. Josie is in love with Phelim who is obsessed with hurling. Tightner lives upstairs - a wealthy, lascivious man. Will he help them? Can Eileen, Fiona's mother, lure a few pounds from him, and at what price?
